Creekview and Wayside Athletes of the Month
Liliana Aguilar - Liliana is an 8th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School, Liliana demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude, she embodies all the components of what it means to be a Creekview Athlete. Liliana was a member of our Volleyball team and developed so much confidence within the season, she is currently a member of our Soccer team as well. Over these 2 years, Liliana has been an integral asset in the success of our athletic program. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete here at Creekview Middle School.
Logan Anderson - Logan was chosen for his consistency and hard work! Logan is not only a tremendous athlete for our program on the court and field, but also manages to keep all A's in his classes. He is a great example of what it means to be a Creekview athlete!
Selah Andrade - Selah, an 8th grade athlete, has participated in every sport! She has been part of record setting track relays.
KJ Willingham - KJ is an exceptional tennis player and has contributed greatly to the team’s success throughout the season. For the month of April, KJ was able to win second place at the spring district tournament in doubles competition.
Audrianna Ortega – Audrianna is a 7th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School. She always has a positive attitude and smile on her face, she embodies all the qualities of what it means to be a Creekview Athlete. Audrianna also demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. She ran cross-country, played volleyball, and is currently a member of the Lady Colts track team and will be competing in the Meet of Champions for the 2400m and 1600m. Audrianna is also a member of our soccer team. We are looking forward to watching Audrianna continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete at Creekview Middle School and beyond.
Shamar Siaca - Shamar has been extremely valuable to all our sports teams this year in 7th grade and is currently qualified to complete in multiple events in the upcoming Meet of Champions. Shamar works extremely hard on and off the field and represents our program in all the right ways! We look forward to seeing his accomplishments for the rest of this season and in the future!
Brynn Bayer – Brynn broke the school record in shot put with a throw of 98.2 feet. She is an awesome athlete and student!
Caleb Mitchell – Caleb finished in first place in the first two track meets, just falling short of a new school record. He has also finished in the top 3 at the first two meets in the shot put.
Addi Gybels - Addi, an 8th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School, Addi always has a positive attitude and embodies all the components of what it means to be a Creekview Athlete. She also demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Addi played volleyball and basketball and is currently a member of the Lady Colts track team. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete at Creekview Middle School and beyond.
Maverick Boen - Maverick is our athlete of the month. He is currently
competing in his 4th sport this year and has been instrumental in
our success this year in athletics. He not only models what it means to be a
Colt on the field or court but also in and around the classroom!
Keylee Williams - Keylee is an 8th grade student-athlete that plays volleyball and runs track. She just broke the school record for the 400m with a time of 103:56!
Emanuel Sigala - Emanuel was nominated for his dedication and training in cross country and Track. He broke the school record in the 2400m run with time of 8:08.31.
Layla Lewis - Layla, an 8th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School, Layla demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Layla always has a positive attitude and embodies all the components of what it means to be a Creekview Athlete. Layla plays a vital role within our basketball team, contributing to our undefeated season. This is Layla's first year as a Creekview Lady Colt, and she has been such an integral asset in the success of our athletic program. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete at Creekview Middle School and beyond.
Michael Brown - Our athlete of the month for January is Michael Brown. He has had a huge impact on our 7th grade athletics program. His outstanding play on the field and court is also not to be outdone by his hard work in the classroom. Brown currently holds straight A's and continues to help lead the Colt's basketball this season. We look forward to all the great things this young man will accomplish!
Aubrey Dryg - Aubrey is an 8th grade student-athlete who plays volleyball and basketball. She is a great leader and is always working hard for her teammates. Aubrey is also a fantastic student.
Gloire Fuabuna - Gloire was selected as Athlete of the Month for his leadership and skills on the basketball team.
Aazariah Murphy - Aazariah, an 8th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School, demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Aazariah always has a positive attitude and embodies all the components of what it means to be a Creekview Athlete. Aazariah was a member of our volleyball team and developed so much confidence within the season, she is currently a member of our basketball team. Over these 2 years, Aazariah has been an integral asset in the success of our athletic program. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete here at Creekview Middle School.
Landon Burleson - Currently Landon is playing Basketball and was a medal winning XC runner along with being a part of our 7th grade football team. He is an extremely hard worker who isn't afraid to lead on and off the field. Landon embodies our culture, and we look forward to watching him succeed in not only athletics but in whatever else he decides to do!
Carsyn Skaggs - Carsyn is a 7th grade athlete who plays volleyball, basketball and soccer. She is a fantastic leader and role model for what it means to be a Lady Wildcat.
Tripp Savage - Tripp was nominated for his leadership on and off the field.
Audrianna Ortega - Audrianna is a 7th grade student athlete, demonstrates true GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Audrianna always has a positive attitude and represents Creekview Athletics well. She was a member of our Cross-Country and Volleyball team and is currently a member of our basketball team. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow as a Creekview student athlete.
Alexa Bergman and Kyla Carr - Alex and Kyla are a team in tennis this fall. They both went undefeated in singles and doubles for the entire fall season.
Dylan Castoreno - Dylan was nominated for his leadership and accomplishments in Tennis. He is the team captain of the boys tennis team and ranked #1 with a 4-1 record in both singles and doubles play.
Charlotte Rutter - Charlotte demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Charlotte always has a positive attitude and represents Creekview Athletics well. Charlotte was a member of the volleyball team and developed so much confidence within the season, while also representing the values of Creekview in all aspects. Over these 2 years, Charlotte has been an integral asset in the success of our athletic program. We look forward to watching her continue to grow and develop as a successful student athlete here at Creekview Middle School.
Jaxon Rodriguez - Jaxon was chosen as Athlete of the Month for his consistency, attitude and effort, and GRIT in multiple sports. He leads by example and is always positive on and off the field. He takes care of his business in the classroom and stives to get better every day! He is a true example of what it means to be a Creekview Colt!
Peyton Jackson - Peyton was the team’s leader in kills and showed tremendous leadership on and off the court!
Samuel Jester - Samuel was nominated for his team leadership and encouragement of others. He is one of our most improved players, while encouraging others to do their best.
Sophia Reyes - Sophia, a 7th grade student athlete at Creekview Middle School, demonstrates GRIT and integrity inside and outside of the classroom. Sophia always has a positive attitude and represents Creekview Athletics well. Sophia is currently a member of our Volleyball and cross-country team and represents the values of Creekview in all aspects. We are so ecstatic having Sophia as a Lady Colt!
Jacob Miranda - Jacob consistently shows excellent work either and G.I.R.T. He is a leader on and off the field and displays great character every day. He is a perfect example of what it means to be a Creekview Colt!
Zoe Lindley - Zoe is a hard worker, always has a smile on her face and brings such a positive attitude towards everything. Has only gotten better each week in Cross country, last week placing in the top 15 and this week placing first at the Zone meet!
Tyson McFarland - Tyson has been nominated as Athlete of the Month for his leadership both on and off the field!
