Mackenzie Hill - Girls Track and Field. "Mackenzie jumped 19'6 in the long jump to win the Area Championship." - Bryan Ruiz

Ramon Corona - Baseball. "Ramon hit .333 on the week with an on base percentage of .750 with 2 walks and 3 hit by pitches on the week. He also threw out 4 runners on the base paths. His at bats and defensive performance were a huge factor in the sweep over Weatherford." Joshua Stone

Boswell Varsity Girls Track Team - Pioneer Girls Track team finished 2nd as a team at the UIL District 3-6A Championships. The team was lead by Mackenzie Hill (28 points) and Brooklyn Dotts (26 points). Other area qualifiers include Lola Deane (1600m), Gracie Pineda (3200m, 1600m), Julissa Almodovar (800m), Ally Smith (HJ), Brianna Estrada (4x100), Emily Burton (4x100), Tori Echols (4x100, 400m).

Addison Cook - Softball.  Addison scored 7 runs, 3 stolen bases, and hit a triple with a .571 BA, .667 OBP, and 1.524 OBS

Girls Varsity Gymnastics Team - They won the District Championships!

Kaylee Sallee - Softball. Kaylee went 5 for 8 at the plate, .625 BA, OBS 1.750. She racked up 5 hits: 1 single and 4 doubles and zero strikeout. She had 3 RBIs and defensively she had 12 total chances with 11 putouts. 



March 29, 2024

Mackenzie Hill - Girls Track & Field. Mackenzie finished first in the 100m, 4x100m Relay and Long Jump. She recorded a season's best 11.70 in the 100m dash and broke her own school record in the long jump (19ft 6.5in).

Harley Malone - Softball. Harley pitched 16 strike outs and only allowed two hits. She had two earned runs and a 1.20 ERA. 





March 22, 2024

Tyler Snyder - Boys Gymnastics. Tyler competed in his first-floor routine of the year after a 60%+ tear in his labrum. He has had to make huge adjustments to his gymnastics but has never given up on helping his team. His score was second for our team.

Zoe Hawthorne - Softball. Zoe went 4 for 4 with a .750 batting average and 2.250 OBS. She had three hits for a single, double and a triple. Zoe scored four runs and had four RBIs.

Luci Lambert & Ashlee DeHoyos - Girls Powerlifting. Luci is a two-time Regional Champ and State qualifier. Ashlee also qualified for State. 

Braeden DeHoyos - Boys Powerlifting. Braeden placed second at the Regional Meet and qualified for State.

Girls Varsity Basketball Team - The Lady Pioneers ended the season with a 35-6 record and were Regional Finalists!

Beckett Willis - Boys Gymnastics. Beckett placed second in Vault at the Railroad Rumble.

Mackenzie Hill - Track & Field. Mackenzie finished first in the Long Jump, 100m Dash and 200m Dash scoring 30 team points for the Lady Pioneers at the Weatherford Roo Relays. 



February 16, 2024

Geren Gathright - Boys Golf. This past weekend the Boswell Varsity Boys Golf Team competed in the Aggieland Matchplay tournament hosted by A&M Consolidated H.S. Day one of the tournament was a grueling 36-hole stroke play event, where Geren Gathright led the Pioneers with scores of 83 and 79. Day two was the Matchplay portion of the tournament and the Pioneers faced off against the Jaguars of Buda Johnson H.S. Geren dominated his opponent and won a point for the Pioneers. "Every day this young man has a great attitude and work ethic on the course and in the classroom. He is always competing to not only make himself better but, encourages his teammates to be better as well. This past weekend showed the kind of person he is and helps others to be. He is a true leader." - Coach Pepper

Lily Craft - Girls Swimming. Lily qualified for finals at the Regional meet. She finished 13th overall and broke a school record in the 100 yard Backstroke.



February 2, 2024

Kylar Davis - Boys Wrestling. Kylar was the JV District Champion this past weekend at the 2-6A District tournament. He went 3-0 with all three wins coming by pin. He finished his season with a record of 29-1.

Ruby Kaczor - Girls Gymnastics. Ruby is returning to the lineup for the Lady Pioneers from an injury. She competed on three events last Friday at the Southside Showdown in Rockwall.



January 26, 2024

Brianna Guajardo - Girls Soccer. Bri scored a fantastic goal against Saginaw High School last weekend in the EMS-X Town Tournament. Additionally, Bri is currently the leading goal scorer for the Lady Pioneers.
Zach Hudson - Boys Wrestling. Zach was the champion in the 132 pound weight class at the Red River tournament in Vernon, Texas this past weekend. He was 7-0 on the weekend with five wins coming by pin. He only had two points scored on him during the entire tournament.

Luci Lambert - Girls Powerlifting. Luci won her weight class and an outstanding lifter award at the Saginaw Meet

Joe Builtron - Boys Powerlifting. Joe won his weight class and an Outstanding Lifter award at the Saginaw Meet.

Kylar Davis - Boys Wrestling. Kylar wrestled at the Azle Nest tournament this past weekend. He went 4-1 with all four victories coming by pin. He placed fifth overall.

Santiago Caceres - Boys Soccer. Santiago had four goals and one assist at the GC ISD tournament last weekend.




January 5, 2024

Makayla Courtright - Girls Soccer. Makayla just came back from a concussion and has made an immediate impact in their most recent scrimmage assisting our goal and playing most of the game. Her attitude, effort, and work rate is second to none.

Girls Varsity Basketball Team - The Lady Pioneers won the MT Rice Invitational going 4-0 and averaging 72 ppg, only giving up 38 ppg. They are currently 23-2 and 3-0 in district 3-6A and ranked #3 in the State in 6A! The team had four athletes on the All-Tournament team Salena Carasco, Sydney Durrah, Tori Echols and Camille Williams. 





December 15, 2023

Jeremiah Perez - Boys Wrestling. Jeremiah went 2-1 for the weekend at the EMS tournament. He had one pin and one win by decision. He finished second at the 126 weight class and scored 20.0 team points for the Pioneers.

Owen McMichael - Boys Gymnastics. Owen stepped up big for the meet to fill in for an injured gymnasts. He helped his team exceed their projected team score. 



December 8, 2023

Zach Hudson - Boys Wrestling. Zach went 5-0 this week at the District 2-6A Dual tournament at Eaton High School.  Four of Zach’s victories were by pin, and one was a major decision.

Klarissa Espinosa - Girls Wrestling. Klarissa went 5-0 this weekend at the Azle Nest invitational tournament including four wins by pin.  She was also the tournament champion in the 120-pound weight class.



November 17, 2023

Judah Gordon - Boys Basketball. Judah started his senior season with a 20-point performance against Keller Central and has been a good leader on and off the court.

Joshua Kelley - Boys Swimming. Joshua dropped major time in the 200 free and 500 free at the Colony Cougar Classic this past weekend.




November 10, 2023

Colin Dixon - Football. Colin rushed for 237 yards and scored two touchdowns versus Chisholm Trail.

Lily Craft - Swimming. Lily medaled in two events (first in the 100 back and 3rd in the 200 IM) and placed in the top five in her two relays at the Hebron Hawks Invite on 11-4.

Kairel Robertson - Football. Kairel had six catches for 146 yards and three touchdowns vs Crowley.



October 27, 2023

Donte Reese - Football. Donte rushed for 48 yards and the game winning touchdown and had four tackles on defense.

Isabell Fraley - Swimming. Isabell dropped significant time in three of her four events at the Arlington ISD Invite this past Saturday

Izzy Longspaugh - Swim. At their last meet Izzy  finished first in the 50 free and second in the 100 breaststroke while leading her relay teams to two second place finishes.

Tavin Nevill - Swim. Tavin led the boys to a second place finish at their last meet and placed second in both individual events while posting personal records in both.




October 6, 2023

Freshman Girls Team - Cross Country. The freshman girls ran in the Varsity division at the Boswell Pioneer Invitational. The entire team set personal bests in the 5k. Their next race will be in White Settlement at the Brewer Bear Invitational. 

Kamrin Caruthers - Gymnastics - Kamarin was voted by his teammates as the most improved to this point in the year.



September 29, 2023

Camille Middleton - Volleyball. Camille had 13 kills against L.D. Bell and 28 kills against Paschal helping LPVB to a 2-0 week as they stay 5-0 and undefeated in District.

Ty Dauer - Football. Ty had four catches with 123 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the win vs. Paschal last week. 




September 22, 2023

Brooklyn Dotts - Cross Country. Brooklyn competed at the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station, TX this past Friday. She finished in 20th place out of 300+ runners. Brooklyn was the 3rd fastest sophomore in the entire race.

JJ Grant - Football. JJ had an interception against Trinity on Friday night along with 11 tackles. On the season, JJ has forced a turnover in every game and has 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Ella Darbishire - Cross Country. Ella finished fifth in the varsity divison at the Parker County XC Championships in Weatherford. She led the girls team to a second place finish.

Jillian Neisler - Tennis. Jillian emodied the Pioneer spirit while playing Crowley last week. She was patient and kind all while helping her opponent to learn the game. 




September 8, 2023

Lola Deane - Cross Country. Lola finished seventh out of 500 athletes at the Marcus Coach T Invitational. Her time of 18:20 led the Lady Pioneers to an eighth place finish in one of the top meets in the state.

Kairel Robertson - Football. Kairel had eight catches for 200 yards, two touchdowns, ran for a two-point conversion and he also threw a 57-yard touchdown pass.



September 1, 2023

Lola Deane - Cross Country. Lola finished 15th out of 250 runners in the Elite division at the Southlake Invite #1. Her time of 18:05 broke the school record making her the fastest Lady Pioneer in school history.

Colin Dixon & Tye Renfro - Football. Colin had 166 yard rushing, 72 yards receiving, three total touchdowns and 238 total yards in the Wagon Wheel Game. Tye three for 392 yards, four touchdowns and he ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns. He had 464 total yards and six touchdowns in the Boswell vs. Saginaw game.



August 25, 2023

Zach Baker - Tennis. Zach is undefeated in preseason play in singles and only has one loss in boys doubles. He looks to continue his undefeated district as they open up district play this week against North Crowley

Gracie Pineda - Cross Country. Gracie led the Lady Pioneers with her fifth place finish in the Elite division at the Byron Nelson Invitational. The Lady Pioneers also finished fifth as a team.




May 5, 2023

Layla David - Softball. Layla was 4 for 6, with a .667 batting average, a .714 on-base percentage, and 2.214 OPS this past week. She had a single, two doubles and a homerun and 11 PO on defense in their two playoff games. 

Danny Martin - Boys Gymnastics. Danny finished in the Top 20 at the State Meet in the All-Around. He has lead the men's team for the last 2 seasons as Captain and Top all-around gymnast. His presence and leadership will be greatly missed.



April 28, 2023

Kaylee Sallee - Softball. Kaylee went  4 for 6 at the plate, with a .667 BA for the week, OBPS 1.381, and 3 RBIs, threw out 2 runners caught stealing, with 8 PO.

Sawyer Farr - Baseball. Sawyer went 4 for 5 on the week with 2 singles, 2 triples, with 3 walks, hitting .800 on the week.  He also had 2 RBIs and a stolen base.



April 21, 2023

Harley Malone - Softball. Harley's pitching stats were 14IP in two games, gave up 12 hits, only 3 ER, 3W, 18K’s, and a 1.50 ERA for the week.

Wyatt Fielding - Baseball. Wyatt Fielding went 3 for 6 on the week, with two walks, .500 batting average. He also had 23 put outs in 23 chances, including four out-saving scoops at first base.




April 6, 2023

Ruby Kaczor - Girls Gymnastics. Ruby is an All-Around gymnast. At the district championships she placed second on beam, third on floor and seventh on bars. 

Tennis Regional Qualifiers - The Pioneers qualified an individual or team in every division and claimed both the girls and boys district championships! Will Dunson was the district champion in Boys Singles. Yaddimar Ramirez was the district champion in Girls Singles. Ryan Rosalin and Zach Baker were district champions in Boys Doubles. Naima Ghnaim and Asia Phanmaha-Lanier were runners-up in Girls Doubles and Colin McGinn and Kameron Shipp were runners-up in Mixed Doubles.




March 31, 2023

Malia Jones - Softball. Malia was 3 for 5 hitting with a single, double and a triple. She had a .600 batting average, 1.800 on base slugging and three RBIs.

Evan Hurst - Tennis. As a freshman, Evan won the consolation bracket at the Sharon Wartes Invitational in Abilene this weekend. There were 39 teams from across the state represented.




March 24, 2023

Luci Lambert - Powerlifting. Luci was the 6A Region champion in the 165 weight class and competed at the State meet last week in Frisco.

Cyler Moore - Baseball. Over the spring break Cyler went 7 for 18 with 7 walks. He had 5 singles, 1 double, a homerun and 6 RBIs. Cyler hit .389 across 7 games where the Pioneers went 7-0.

Aileen Masso - Girls Soccer. Aileen is a center back for the varsity team.

Mason Bell - Baseball. Mason pitched 7 innings with zero earned runs and five strike outs in a win over Amarillo Tascosa.

Mackenize Hill - Track and Field. Mackenize placed first in both the 100m (12.67) and 200m (25.83)

Ryan Rosalin and Zach Baker - Tennis. Ryan and Zach battled it out this weekend at the Cowtown Classic and came home with the gold!



February 17, 2023

Eric Trejo - Boys Soccer. Eric is a senior and one of the team captains. Due to the ice storm, the team had to reschedule and play four games in six days. Eric played every minute of every game and is the inspirational leader of the team. He played outstanding and helped lead the team to victory over Crowley on Friday night.

Makayla Courtright - Girls Soccer. Makayla led the team in assists.

Girls Powerlifting Team - They have won two meets in a row.

Nyssa Longmiles & Will Dunson - Tennis. Nyssa and Will won their division at the Parker County Tennis Tournament which helped the Pioneers to take first place as a team.

Girls 200 Freestyle and Medley Relays Teams - Girls Swimming. The Girls 200 Freestyle and Medley Relay teams consist of Avery Mason, Cameron Andrews, Lily Craft, Izzy Longspaugh, and Emersyn Mabry. The Medley is the district champion and the Freestyle is the district runner-up finishing just .05 seconds behind first place.

Alana Lee - Girls Wrestling. Alana was the 100 champion at the Red River Classic. All her wins were by pins and she remains unbeaten on the year. 


January 20, 2023

Miraya Perkins - Girls Basketball. Senior Miraya Perkins was nominated by Coach Reese. Miraya averages 22 points and 12 rebounds. She has helped the Lady Pioneers go 2-0 and move to a first place tie in the district.

Brody Patterson - Boys Track & Field. Freshman Brody Patterson was nominated by Coach Ruiz. Brody ran his first timed 1600m of the year. He improved his personal best by over two minutes (7:49) and has made a huge step forward in his training.


January 13, 2023

Alana Lee - Girls Wrestling. Senior Alana Lee was nominated by Coach Smith. Alana won the Birdville Bash tournament on Saturday. She was the 100 lb. champion. Alana won all three of her matches on the year and remains undefeated for the season. 

Isabell Fraley - Girls Swimming. Sophomore Isabell Fraley was nominated by Coach Hudson. Isabell dropped four second in her 50-yard freestyle at the New Year's Classic meet. She has dropped time at every single meet this year and was part of the girls team that took first place overall in the meet on Saturday.




December 16, 2022

Senior Avery Mason was nominated by Coach Hudson. She is a member of the Boswell girls swim team. Avery finished top 6 in all four events at the highly competitive Northwest Invite this past weekend against some of the fastest swimmers in the state.

Junior Tobias Reese was nominated by Coach Blackburn. He is a member of the Boswell boys varsity basketball team. Tobias averaged 14 ppg and helped lead the Pioneers to a 3-1 record at the Decatur Tournament. Tobias made 10 3's in four games for the Pioneers. 



December 9, 2022

Senior Taylor Daniels was nominated by Coach Cadenhead. He is a member of the Boswell boys varsity wrestling team. Taylor placed third at the Mike McCready Memorial Invitational this past weekend. His weekend record was 6-I with 6 Pins at the tournament.

Senior Alana Lee was nominated by Coach Smith. She is a member of the Boswell girls varsity wrestling team. Alana was the Champion of the 100 pound weight class at the Azle Nest tournament this past weekend.  She was 5-0 on Saturday and she won by fall in four out of her five matches.  This was the her first tournament for the 2022-23 season and she picked up where she left off last year. 



November 18, 2022

Senior Hailey Owen was nominated by Coach Hudson. She is a member of the Boswell swim team. Hailey dropped major time in her 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the Colony Cougar Classic meet this past Saturday. 

Sophomore Hudson Hagan was nominated by Coach Hudson. He is a member of the Boswell swim team. Hagan dropped major time in his 50 freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke at the Colony Cougar Classic swim meet this past Saturday.



November 11, 2022

The Varsity Volleyball team was nominated by Coach Lopez. They were nominated for winning the Bi-District and Area Championships last week!  

Sophomore Beckett Willis was nominated by Coach Averitte. He is a member of the Boswell boys gymnastics team. Beckett counted in four of the six events he competed in at their meet last week, with four of the six events being new to him this year. 



November 4, 2022

Freshman Emersyn Mabry was nominated by Coach Hudson. She is a member of the Boswell swim team. Emersyn dropped major time in her 100-yard breaststroke and 100 freestyle times at the Frisco ISD Invitational this past Saturday. Emersyn played a major role in contributing to Boswell's fifth place finish among 21 schools at this meet.

Senior Ezra Carter was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Ezra had 144 yards rushing and two touchdowns in their win against Crowley. 



October 28, 2022

Sophomore Zach Baker was nominated by Coach Wester. He is a member of the Boswell varsity tennis team. Zach was the District 3-6A MVP.

Senior Alex Rosales was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Alex had 11 tackles for the Pioneers.



October 21, 2022

Senior Cameron Andrews was nominated by Coach Hudson. She is a member of the Boswell swim team. Cameron placed first in breaststroke, third in the 200IM, and was part of two relays (the 200 Medley and the 400 free) that also finished first at last week's triple dual meet against Chisholm Trail, Paschal, and four other Fort Worth schools. 

Senior Jack Fuller was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Jack had 10 tackles in their game versus L.D. Bell. He has been Defensive MVP or Co-MVP for five straight weeks. 



October 14, 2022

Junior Lily Craft was nominated by Coach Hudson. She is a member of the Boswell swim team. Lily took first in the 200 Intermediate Medley and second in the 100 backstroke, in addition to two first place finishes as part of the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay at last Thursday's triple dual meet in Fort Worth.

Sophomore Cailyn Rhodes was nominated by Coach Ruiz. She is a member of the Boswell cross country team. Cailyn competed in the Tarrant County XC Championships on the campus of Boswell HS. She competed in the varsity girls 3200m and ran a personal best time by almost two full minutes (13:22). Cailyn finished 13th place and led the JV Pioneers to a third place finish against some varsity private school teams. To add to her amazing performance, she is also on varsity cheer and was up on her feet all night supporting the varsity football team!



October 7, 2022

Freshman Tavin Nevill was nominated by Coach Hudson. He is a member of the Boswell swim team. Tavin was the top scorer for the boys team at the Colony Sprint Invite and for medaling in the 50 yard breaststroke.

Freshman Jonah Fraire was nominated by Coach Ruiz. He is a member of the Boswell varsity cross country team. Jonah competed at the Chilipepper XC Festival in Fayetteville, AR this Saturday and ran a personal best of 18:54. Jonah finished as our top freshman and broke 19 mins for the first time in his young career.

Freshman Jillian Neisler was nominated by Coach Wester and Cadenhead. She is a member of the Boswell JV tennis team. Jillian displayed outstanding sportsmanship against Crowley last week in their JV match. She played a special needs player from Crowley HS and displayed amazing patience, kindness, and humility!

Senior Alex Rosales was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Alex had six tackles in holding Paschal to 150 yards of offense.   


September 23, 2022

Senior Israel Hernandez was nominated by Coach Ruiz. He is a member of the Boswell varsity cross country team. Israel ran at the Paschal Invitational this Saturday at the Athletic Performance Ranch. Israel covered the very difficult 5k course in 17:41. He finished 24th overall and 5th out of his district competitors. 

Freshman Brooklyn Dotts was nominated by Coach Ruiz. She is a member of the Boswell varsity cross country team. Brooklyn ran at the Paschal Invitational this weekend and covered the very hard 5k course in 20:53. She finished 21st overall and is ranked 4th in the district.



September 16, 2022

Senior Ryan Rosalin was nominated by Coach Cadenhead. He is a member of the Boswell varsity tennis team. Ryan and Yaddimar were wins #9 and #10 respectively. Their wins clinched the nail-biter victory over Chisholm Trail last week to remain undefeated in district play. 

Junior Yaddimar Ramirez was nominated by Coach Cadenhead. She is a member of the Boswell varsity tennis team. Ryan and Yaddimar were wins #9 and #10 respectively. Their wins clinched the nail-biter victory over Chisholm Trail last week to remain undefeated in district play.

Junior Jaedon Langley was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Jaedon had 8 tackles and 5 QB sacks at last week's game against Lake Ridge.

Junior Grace Pineda was nominated by Coach Ruiz. She is a member of the Boswell girls varsity cross country team. Grace improved her time significantly at the Burleson Elk Run. Grace finished 2nd on the team and helped secure a victory over the top 15 teams in the state, Keller.

Senior Ezra Carter was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Ezra had 181 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

Senior Gage Ellis was nominated by Coach Abendschan. He is a member of the Boswell varsity football team. Gage had 166 yards receiving and 2 TDs.



August 26, 2022

Junior Lola Deane was nominated by Coach Ruiz. She is a member of the Boswell varsity cross country team. Lola led the Lady Pioneers at the Pioneer Invitational with her 1st place finish. She completed the very tough 5k course in 19:59. Her team also took 1st place in the team title.

Junior Will Dunson was nominated by Coach Cadenhead. He is a member of the Boswell varsity tennis team. Will has only lost one singles preseason match and that loss was in a tie-breaker.
