Augusta Nelson
Augusta Nelson was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colo., and moved to Texas in 2015. She has her National Board of Certification (BOC) and is licensed in the state of Texas.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Colorado Mesa University and her Masters of Education degree in Sports Administration from Midwestern State University.
She has worked in a variety of sports at almost every level across California, Arkansas, and Texas. Her vast experience ranges from club and intramural sports to public and private high schools, hospitals/clinic settings, NAIA Division III and Division II athletics, along with semiprofessional and professional leagues.
She has worked with athletes as young as five and elderly adults. Nelson has been involved with sports her entire life playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, figure skating, and snowboarding in high school, to now making it her passion and career in Sports Medicine.
She has been in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD since 2020 at Saginaw High School and now at Boswell High School for the 2023-24 school year.
