Tuesday proved an intense matchup for the Lady Pioneers. After almost a month of tournaments and away games, the girls in blue finally set foot on their home turf against the Grapevine Lady Mustangs. Having found themselves pitted against a strong opponent, Boswell kicked it into high gear as they managed to stay ahead of their visitors. Sets one and two ended in a close but decisive Lady Pioneer victories with a final score of 25-19 across both bouts. Their third was much more contested and saw Grapevine pull ahead by a narrow two points 25-27, but the final battle tipped in the Lady Pioneers favor. The girls - by a razor thin margin - came out on top 27-25 and took their third straight win 3-1.
Boswell hits the road once again Friday, September 4th, to spar with Denton Ryan.
