The Pioneers caped off the district season with a series of stellar performances at Bob Jones Park on Thursday. The early-morning run was plagued by the weight of muggy air, but the boys and girls in blue pushed through like they always do and placed in the top six at the waving checkered flag. Varsity girls finished sixth over all, led by Eunice Tshiteya placing 28th. The boys varsity team came in fifth overall, beating out Keller Central, Keller Timber Creek, and Northwest thanks to top-20 finishes by Alessandro Keating in 14th and Emanuel Sigala in 16th.
Congratulations, ladies and gents!
