The Boswell Lady Pioneers experienced a challenging start, falling behind in the first quarter against North Crowley on Friday, Jan. 5. They made a good run in the second quarter, narrowing the deficit to only three points. Boswell came out of halftime strong winning the third and fourth quarters but a few mental lapses in the fourth quarter allowed North Crowley to secure the win from the free-throw line. Sydney Durrah led the team with 17 points, Camille Williams added 14 points and K'mari Heney contributed nine.

The team looks to bounce back at home on Tuesday, Jan. 9 versus L.D.Bell. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
