It was a tight match up last week as the Pioneers took on Byron Nelson at Bi-District. With a razor-thin defeat in round one and a shutout victory on day two, Boswell took to the diamond on Saturday to break the tie. Both teams were in a vicious struggle for the lead from the onset of the game, trading places in the lead over the first three inning before Byron was able to hold it. The boys in blue trailed closely behind with several threats to reclaim the top spot, but sadly were unable to push it over the top. By the end of the game, the Pioneers fell in a close 2-7 defeat, and though the outcome was not what they had been hoping for, Boswell ended off the season with another fantastic record of 28-6 and claiming the title of 3-6A Champions.
