The Lady Pioneers went into a tough one on Tuesday as they hosted the North Crowley Lady Panthers, the #2 team in the state. Though shooting proved difficult all throughout the game, the girls in white held firm against a very strong opponent and remained within striking distance until the final buzzer. Strong coordination and teamwork by every Lady Pioneer involved helped them amass 40 points by the end of the fourth quarter to their visiting team's 57. Though not the win they were hoping for, their performance on the court was a fantastic send off to the celebrated seniors playing their final home game in Newcom Gymnasium. Boswell's in-season record stands at 17-16, a positive ratio they seek to exponentially increase as they step into the playoffs.
The girls head for the Arlington Athletics Complex on Thursday, February 12th, for a seeding game against Mansfield Legacy.
