Capping off March at home on Tuesday, the Pioneers took to the diamond against L.D. Bell in their one and only meeting of the season. Both teams came out strong and vied heavily for control throughout the course of the evening, but sadly the visitors managed to narrowly push through Boswell's defenses and sneak out with a close victory of 0-3. Landon Granger started for the boys in blue and recorded a staggering 12 outs , striking out seven as he pitched over the course of four innings, while Casey Dalton led with two hits in three at bats. Though the boys didn't get on the board this go around, their sure-handedness out in the field was second to none as they didn't commit a single error in play.
Thursday, April 2nd, the Pioneers are away, facing down Argyle in a one-time, one-to-one duel.
