Chalking up another victory in their already successful season, the Lady Pioneers repaid the narrow loss they took against Legacy last month and brought home their third straight win. Leading hitters for the girls in blue were Evelyn Manjarrez 1-3 with 3 RBIs, Sam Cruz 1-2 with 1 RBI, and Addy Watson and Sami Wright went 1-2. Harley Malone started in the circle, going 3IP, 5H, 3R, 3ER, and 5Ks, with Addy Watson came in for relief earning the win with 4IP, 1H, 0R, and 9Ks. The team's efforts all coalesced into the perfect storm that saw them pull ahead of their opponents and secure a respectable victory of 5-3.
The Lady Pioneers are off on Tuesday, but return Friday, April 10th, for their senior night showdown against North Crowley.
