Taking on North Crowley in their second meeting of the season, the Lady Pioneers proceeded to sweep the competition in celebration of their senior members. The team totaled 11 hits over the course of the evening, Ellie Morales leading the way as she went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBIs, Karma Quzma following closely behind with 2-2 and 1 RBI. Karli Johnson and Addy Watson both went 1-2 while chalking up 3 RBIs and 2 RBIs respectively. From the circle, Harley Malone was a powerhouse, throwing five inning and allowing two hits, but zero runs and striking out nine. It was another strong performance from this all-start team, and a great send-off for the seniors as one of their last games on the Pioneer diamond.
Tuesday, April 14th, the team is away at Weatherford to face the Lady Roos and looking to keep their win streak going strong.
