Boswell advanced to the Regional Semifinals for the first time since their realignment to the 6A division in 2020. The Lady Pioneers played hard against a tough Prosper team on Friday, Nov. 11 at the Thomas Coliseum but fell short in three sets. The final set scores were 25-20, 25-20, 25-20. Leading the Lady Pioneers was Madi Parrish with eight kills and 12 digs. Stephanie Gutierrez contributed seven kills. Brianna Russell led in assists with 13 and Alena Lopez led the team with 24 digs. This is the third time in the past seven years that Boswell has advanced to round four in the state playoffs. The Lady Pioneers finished their successful season with an overall record of 35-13 (their most wins since 2015) and a district record of 13-1. The team earned the title of Co-District, Bi-District, Area, and Regional Quarterfinal Champions! Congratulations to the players and coaching staff on an incredible season!
