The Lady Pioneers traveled to Birdville on Tuesday, Aug. 22 and won a tough five set match against the Lady Hawks, with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 14-25, 15-5. Camille Middleton led Boswell with 18 kills while Emerson Chadwell contributed 19 digs and six aces and Brooke Lacewell contributed nine kills. Alena Lopez added 18 digs and four aces. They will compete in the Leander Tournament this weekend. After the tournament, Boswell will be on the road for the next eight games and opens up district play at Crowley on Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Pioneers return home to Newcom Gymnasium for their first home game of the season on Sept. 26 against Weatherford.
