In a heart-pounding five-set match, the Boswell Lady Pioneers fell short against the Chisholm Trail Lady Rangers on Friday, Sept. 29, with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 18-25, 23-25, and 13-15.
Kennedy Caton played a crucial role, leading the team with 21 assists, while Camille Middleton and Brooke Lacewell emerged as the team's leaders in kills, contributing 20 and 16, respectively. Alena Lopez achieved a significant career milestone by reaching 1,000 digs.
Currently holding the second spot in District 3-6A, Boswell is gearing up for the second round of district play. They are slated to host Crowley in their upcoming matchup on Tuesday, October 3, at Newcom Gymnasium at 6:30 pm.
