In the Boswell Invitational on Wednesday, Mar. 6, the Boswell track teams delivered strong performances. The girls team finished second overall, with Gracie Pineda winning the 3200m. The girls 4x100m Relay, consisting of Emily Burton, Mackenzie Hill, Brianna Estrada and Tori Echols, broke the school record for a silver finish and Azaria Ingram took gold in the 300m Hurdles. Hill and Estrada claimed first and second in the 100m and 200m and Hill also took gold in the Long Jump. Josslyn Bayer placed second in the Shot Put and third in Discus.
The boys team finished fourth, with Shane Noviskie earning fourth in the 800m. The boys 4x200m Relay placed third and Aiden Hatcher secured fourth in the Pole Vault. Kairel Robertson and Isaiah Murphy earned second and third in the Triple Jump.
The Pioneers' next competition is on Friday, Mar. 22 at Chisholm Trail Ranger Stadium.
