Boswell hosted L.D. Bell in district play on Tuesday, Apr. 2 defeating the Blue Raiders 2-0. Mason Bell took the mound for the Pioneers. Bell struck out 12 batters, allowed only three hits, and conceded zero runs over seven innings. The Pioneers seized an early lead in the first inning after Bell grounded out and Sawyer Farr sprinted home from second base. Boswell extended their advantage in the third inning as Bell contributed a sacrifice fly, securing the two RBIs of the game. The Pioneers travel to L.D. Bell on Friday, Apr. 5 at 7 pm.
