The Pioneers took El Paso by storm this past weekend with an impressive 12th place finish overall, and 2nd in the state on Vault behind the eventual state champions. Individually, the competition was just as fierce. Tanner Snyder placed 14th on Floor, just .6 points from the top spot, and Becket Willis landed in 4th on Vault, only .55 points from first! Respectively, both boys finished 21st and 23rd out of 123 competitors.
"This team has overcome so many obstacles this season, to finish like they did is just amazing to me," Coach Jimmy Averitte marveled.
