In a tense showdown of the Bi-District playoff series on Friday, May 3, the Boswell Varsity Pioneers dropped game two to the Byron Nelson Bobcats with a final score of 4-3. The game saw multiple lead changes, with Boswell seizing the lead in both the seventh and eighth innings. However, a clutch play by Byron Nelson's Kenson Buth in the bottom of the eighth secured the victory for the Bobcats. Despite a valiant effort by Boswell's Chase Pockrus on the mound and notable offensive contributions from players like Coby Mcbride and Aidan Tenorio, the Pioneers fell short.

The Pioneers rallied back in game 3 of the Bi-District playoffs, emerging triumphant with a 2-0 victory over the Bobcats on Saturday. The game remained deadlocked at zero until the top of the seventh inning when Chase Pockrus smashed a home run, propelling Boswell into the lead. Mason Bell earned the win on the mound for the Pioneers. Pockrus went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two RBIs. With this decisive victory, Boswell earned the Bi-District Champion title and advanced to the Area playoffs. They face off against Midland at Abilene Christian University on May 9-11 in a possible three-game series.
