Draped in bright pink for breast cancer awareness month, the Lady Pioneers took to their home court to face of against Lake Ridge last friday. Sadly, their opponent proved to be better on the court for the evening and left the girls with a disheartening 0-3 loss. The final score, however, does not reflect the amount of hard work Boswell left out on the field. The first set had the widest point gap at 9, but the Lady Pioneers kept right on the heels of the team on the other side of the net in both the second and third sets with 4 and 7 points respectively. Senior Alena Lopez led the team with 21 digs.
Tuesday, Oct. 8th, the girls head to Mansfield to take on the district's eponymous high school.
