There was a lot of determination and grit coming from the Lady Pioneers on Friday. Only 25 minutes in to the first half, Boswell faced a difficult obstacle in the form of a teammate being sent off the field. This adversity, however, was met with an immediate response on the pitch. The girls earned a corner kick with Ella Darbshire converting to put the girls in blue up 1-0. The rest of the game's 55 minutes was played with one less player and the Lady Pioneers still found a way to come out on top through sheer effort and great defensive play from goalkeeper Braelyn Sandoval.
Boswell is away on Tuesday, Feb. 25th, to face off against Mansfield Legacy.
