The Pioneers traveled out to Aledo last week for the district powerlifting meet, taking home the bronze as a team. It was a tough fight for the boys as they stacked weight across the barbell, but because of the hard work and preparation they've been putting in all throughout the winter season, they were able to place just as well individually as they did as a team. Four of the Boswell strongmen brought back medals, among them being Christian Ramirez, Ben Pardo, Ashtyn Davis, and Ola Orebe who now turn their eyes to the fast approaching regional meet.
The Pioneers head for Keller Central, and regionals, on Saturday, March 8th.
