The wind was not enough to keep the Pioneers back on Tuesday evening. In a rematch under very similar conditions, Boswell took control of possession and attack early on in the first half to help them reverse the outcome. A combined effort of the team helped Santi Caceres, Sebastian Zavala, and Grady Tayeye pierce their opponent's defenses to score three goals and clinch a 3-0 shutout victory by the final buzzer. With this win, the Boswell Pioneers are one step closer to a playoff appearance, their first since 2017.
The Pioneers are off to Weatherford on Friday, March 7th, to take on the Kangaroos under better projected weather conditions.
