Due to weather, the Boswell Tennis team faced a slight delay in proceedings around their District tournament, but came back yesterday tho finish the second half off strong! The Pioneers put everything they had out on the court and put their skills on display in several different matchups that kept their opponents on their toes. Kamron Shipp and Evan Hurst worked together as a dynamic duo in the Mixed Doubles event, earning a 2nd place finish and a spot in the upcoming regionals meet. This will be Kameron's second time qualifying and Evan's first. Zach Baker was named the District Champion in the Boys Singles event which makes this his fourth consecutive time qualifying for the regional tournament!
The trio are off to Mckinney next Wednesday and Thursday, May 7th and 8th.
