BOSWELL GYMNASTICS TAKES THIRD AT REGIONALS AND ADVANCES TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Boswell gymnastics takes third at Regionals and advances to the State Championships

Pioneer gymnastic teams competed in the Regional Championship at Trinity High School on April 11-12. The girls team earned third place out of 12 schools. Dia Palmer finished sixth on vault with McKinley Camacho right behind her in seventh place. Camacho also earned seventh place on the uneven bars, sixth on the balance beam and fifth in the All-Around. Katelyn Kirklin was eighth on the balance beam and Allyncia Williams earned ninth on the floor event and 10th in the All-Around.

The boys team had a great showing outscoring Trinity by 0.2 with their best score of the year to advance to the State meet. Overall the Pioneers finished in third place. Tyler Snyder earned ninth place on the floor event. P.J. Selerio earned 10th on the pommel horse and Tanner Snyder was fifth on vault. In the All-Around Danny Martin earned seventh and Tyler Snyder was 10th.

Both teams advance to the State Gymnastic Championships at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station on April 28-29. Good luck Pioneers!
