The Boswell boys powerlifting team had a successful meet at Saginaw HS on Jan. 11. Nine lifters, including Ben Pardo, Joe Builtron, Peyton Rhodes, Brandt Williams, Xander Thacker, Nate Wyly, Luke Smith, Josh Mangus (Maingus), and Nathanael Cordova won in their respective weight classes. Joe Builtron and Luke Smith also received Outstanding Lifter awards.
The Pioneers will compete at Azle High School on Jan. 25 against Azle, Granbury, and Springtown powerlifting teams.
