Sophomore Braeden DeHoyos, competed in the 123 lb class at the THSPA State Meet held last Saturday, Mar. 23 at the Taylor Expo Center in Abilene. DeHoyos delivered a standout performance, setting personal records on both the bench press and total weight lifted. Each lifter competed in three sets of lifts—squat, bench press, and deadlift—where the total weight determined the winner. His lifts included a 320 lb squat, a 235 lb bench press, and a 325 lb deadlift, culminating in a total weight of 880 lbs.
