Boswell Tennis showcased remarkable performances at their District Tennis Tournament held on Apr. 22-23 at Richland High School. A total of seven Boswell players have earned spots in the upcoming regional tournament. Junior Zach Baker emerged as the boys singles District Champion, marking his third consecutive appearance at regionals. Senior Will Dunson secured the boys singles runner-up position, also advancing to regionals. Boswell swept the girls doubles division, with senior Yaddimar Ramirez and junior Kameron Shipp clinching the District Championship with seniors Naima Ghnaim and Nyssa Longmiles earning second place. Senior Makayla Ladd claimed the girls singles District Champion title, marking her third regional appearance. The Lady Pioneers team emerged overall as the District Champions, while the boys team finished second by just .5 of a point shy of a sweep. The upcoming regional tournament is set to take place at The Courts at McKinney on May 8.
