Though the Pioneers fell short to Lake Ridge on Tuesday, their time on the court is not yet through. This past match brought Boswell to and even 3-3 in district play, solidifying a 4th place finish for the team and securing a spot for them in the upcoming playoffs. Last night was difficult, culminating in a 7-12 loss for the Pioneers. However, their performance shows just how prepared they are for the big leagues. Senior Zach Baker not only finished this fall season flawless in singles, but he has done so consistently over his entire tennis career at Boswell, making his overall record 27-0. With him, freshman Alex Chladzynski finished a great season with a big win at line 5 singles, and senior Kameron Shipp brought home two wins in both mixed doubles and girls line 1 singles.
Monday, Oct. 7th, the Pioneers travel to Carroll High School to officially begin playoffs!
