The chilly Tuesday evening was nothing compared to the heat the Pioneers brought to the pitch against Crowley. In the first half, Grady Tayeye and Santi Caceres put the ball away twice and gave Boswell a comfortable lead over their opponent, maintaining control over the ball for long stretches before halftime. Crowley was able to get on the board near the end, but remained short after the boys in blue turned up the temperature and scored another two goals in the second half. Santi Caceres, making his second score of the evening, with an assist form Sebas Zavala, forced the Crowley goalkeeper to wrong-foot the ball into the net, and Sebas Zavala, not satisfied with just an assist, came back for the last goal of the game as he slotted the ball past the keeper just before the final horn.
The Pioneers are away on Friday, January 31st, taking on Mansfield Lake Ridge where they aim to replicate the performance.
