It was a beautiful day last Monday, the perfect weather to start off Spring Break and for some Pioneer Softball. The girls in blue took to the diamond against North Crowley and absolutely dominated throughout the nine innings. Offensively, the Lady Pioneers put their back into every swing. Addy Watson made a strong performance by going three-for-four at-bat, and Dallas Rutter helped contribute three points to the overall score with a pop down the center line that sent three of her teammates back to home plate. Harley Malone was the star of the defense, striking out a staggering total of 13 batters and only giving up one hit, one run, and walking two in her entire time in the pitcher's circle. By the end of the day, Boswell had put up 11 points over their opponent's single run.
The Lady Pioneers are back on their home field again on Tuesday, March 25, for a fight against Mansfield where they look to keep their win streak going.
