It was a rough start to Bi-District for the Lady Pioneers last night, going head to head against Keller at their home diamond. Though the girls made good contact with the ball, Olivia Herrera going 2-for-3 on the plat with Dallas Rutter and Sam Cruz both collecting two hits, the girls in blue were unable to find their pace to keep alongside the Indians. Harley Malone came in for relief on the mound, allowing two runs but striking out three in return. It was a strong effort from Boswell, and though they fell to their opponent 3-8, they are far from out of the fight.
The Lady Pioneers head to Indian territory for the next round of Bi-District on Friday, April 25th, looking to turn the tide on their opponent and go into the round three tiebreaker.
