It was an ice cold evening on Tuesday, but the Pioneers were anything but sluggish on the pitch against O.D. Wyatt. Boswell played most of the game limited to ten players on the field and managed to keep a jealous hold on their side of the field throughout all of it. For large portions of the match, the boys in blue proved to be the better team through their control of the ball, the effort they put into breaking the visiting team's defenses, and the composure they displayed despite their capped player count. A 1-1 draw was the final score the Pioneers ended up taking away, and while they would have liked to rack up more points, Head Coach Jonathan White summarized the evening best when saying "The performance reflected growing maturity and competitiveness as we continue to develop."
Weather permitting, the boys will be back on their home field Friday, January 23rd, for their matchup against Mansfield.
