Friday's senior night match was yet another thrilling performance by the Pioneers. As head coach Jonathan White said, "It was special night filled with energy, resilience, and big moments, making it a fitting celebration for our seniors." Sebastian Zavala was instrumental throughout the evening as he helped to create numerous openings for the boys in blue to drive the ball home, including a dangerous cross into the box that Isaiah Nash attacked, putting Boswell on the board. Weatherford - that day's opponent - did not take the assault lying down and managed to score their own goal that put the two teams in a clash of wills. As the clock ticked down in the game's final seconds, Andrew Menendez stepped in to score the dramatic, last-minute point that brought the Pioneers up 2-1 and secured their victory.
Boswell is away for their last in-season matchup on Tuesday, March 10th, against Mansfield Lake Ridge.
