A great Senior Night unfolded at Pioneer Stadium as Boswell hosted Weatherford on Friday, Mar. 1. The first half of the game was largely controlled by Boswell. Patrick Perez made two saves to deny the Roos any scoring opportunity. In the second half, three goals sealed the victory for the Pioneers. Julian Orona had the first score after pouncing on an errant kick from Weatherford's goalkeeper. The second goal came from a strong run by Cole Miller with a finish to the back post from Santi Caceres. Brennan Hunter capped off the scoring from a penalty. With this win, the Pioneers remain in the running for a playoff spot. Their upcoming away games against Crowley on Mar. 5 and Chisholm Trail on Mar. 8 will determine their postseason fate.
