In their second district matchup on Tuesday, Apr. 16, the Boswell Lady Pioneers earned a commanding 6-0 victory over Trinity. A big third inning propelled the Lady Pioneers to success, with Danielle Bohanon and Kaylee Sallee each delivering doubles, while Layla David and Zoe Hawthorne contributed runs with their hits. Boswell tallied eight hits, six runs and five RBIs in the game. Pitcher Harley Malone was instrumental in the shutout victory, going the distance with seven innings, allowing just one run, five walks and striking out eight. With this win Boswell and Trinity find themselves tied for first place in District 3-6A. The Lady Pioneers travel to face Paschal in their last district game of the season on Friday, Apr. 19.
