For the first time in Boswell history, the Lady Pioneers have earned the coveted title of state champions! It was a nail-biter of a game from the very start, both teams firing on all cylinders and holding each other at a 0-0 stalemate that didn't break until almost the end of the first quarter. Hightower pulled ahead slightly in the second quarter, but only slightly, and it gave the girls in blue a boost that helped them pull away for the rest of the game. Boswell led into the second half with a 25-18 score and held a margin between themselves and their opponents that never dipped below nine points. Sydney Durrah had the team high of 17 points, Camille Williams added a double double with 12 points and ten rebounds, and Haleigh Jackson held the line with a great defensive battle in the paint, their efforts, along with the rest of the team's unstoppable momentum, paving the way for a final score of 51-42.
