The Lady Pioneers showed up to bring the heat at district. Amassing 219 total points as a team, the girls earned themselves a solid 2nd place finish by the end of day two. It was a great win on the individual level as well, with McKinley Camacho claiming the title of District Champion in Vault and the rest of the team following close behind:
- McKinley Camacho and Ruby Kaczor placing 3rd and 5th on Bars
- Ruby Kaczor placing 4th on Beam
- McKinley Camacho tying for 2nd, Nevaeh Santiago placing 4th, and Ruby Kaczor placing 6th on Floor
- McKinley Camacho and Ruby Kaczor placing 4th and 5th in the All-Around
It is because of these collective efforts that the team has secured a spot in the upcoming Regionals Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8th and 9th, at Trinity High School.
