Pioneer Stadium was a gladiatorial arena on Friday as the boys in blue faced off against the Crowley Eagles in this season's closest match yet. From start to finish, the clash between these two teams was intense, with every step forward gained through titanic effort. Defense put in the work, lead by Jackson Zieschang and Nate Rosales who were all across the field wreaking havoc on the Eagles' progress. On the other side of the ball, Jace Richardson ran his fourth consecutive 100+ yard game at 144 yards and one TD, and Dju Dju Lords threw for 142 yards and two TDs to receiver Chance Lassiter, racking up a final score of 28-27 and making Boswell 1-1 in district play and 3-3 overall.
The Pioneers are back in action Thursday, October 9th, against Mansfield Legacy.
