It was a close matchup on Tuesday between the Boswell Lady Pioneers and the Lake Ridge Lady Eagles. Both teams put the pedal to the metal from the first toss-up and didn't hold back until the final buzzer. The girls in blue received a number of injuries throughout the night, but continued to put up a fierce defense and ferocious offense that kept them in the competition. However, their visiting opponents managed to find the smallest cracks in their armor and slip though in the second half, pulling ahead by only eight points and capping off the evening with a 50-58 final score.
The Lady Pioneers are away on Friday, December 19th, to end off the fall semester against Mansfield.
