Last Friday, the Pioneers hosted district-mates Chisholm Trail in a friendly duel of skill. It was a strong showing for all involved, with both boys and girls teams putting up solid numbers all throughout the evening.
On the gentlemen's side of the gym, the boys in blue dominated the events and brought home a multitude of top 5 spots. Top performers included Seth Snyder who secured silver on both the Horizontal Bar and Vault while coming out on top on Floor with gold. Moises Hernandez was right behind him with second on Floor before earning his own first place spot on Vault. Jayce Macha tied with Jacob O'Brien for third on the Pommel Horse and was only one spot behind his second-place teammate on the Parallel Bars.
The girls performed just as well, stealing victory from the meet's start to finish. McKinley Camacho led the team with a first place win in Vault, Bars, Floor, All-Around, and second on Beam, Ruby Kaczor was right behind her in every category, taking the top spot on Beam.
The Pioneers travel to Eagle Mountain on Thursday, March 13th, for the annual Railroad Rumble.
