Thursday saw Boswell as the host for a multitude of talented teams, pitting them in an intense series of duels for the annual Pioneer Relays. Both the boys and girls teams showed out with great skill against their opponents and brought home several top finishes across the highly-contested events.
On the gentlemen's side of the track, Emmanuel Imolehin won the varsity high jump and Tyson McFarland took first in the varsity long jump. Kanyon Diaz earned silver in the 100m and Hudson Norwich won gold in the varsity shot put.
For the Lady Pioneers, Gradiela Kabamba secured first place in the 200m while Keegan Eidman captured the top spot in the 400m and silver in the 200m. Emily Brister took second in the 100m, Gradita Kabamba won bronze in the 100m, and Eunice Tshiteya placed third in the 800m. The varsity girls relay teams won both the 4x100m and 4x200m.
Both teams head out to their district-mate Eagle Mountain's turf on Thursday, March 12th, for the Knights Relay.
