A very successful Lady Pioneers softball season came to a close last Thursday, the girls in blue falling short against the Keller Lady Indians in round two of Bi-District. The team started off strong in the top of the first after Addy Watson crushed a homerun to left field and brought two of her teammates to home plate. However, a quick turn around by the Lady Indians - making five runs on four hits - put the opponent up 2-5 and kept them ahead for the remainder of the evening. The Lady Pioneers managed to tally one more run but were unfortunately not able to catch up with their opposition, closing out the game and the playoff stint with a 3-9 final score.
Congratulations on the stellar run, ladies! It was a thrill to watch from start to finish!
