The Lady Pioneers were in a fierce contest at home on Friday, fighting for the trophy against the visiting Lady Indians. In a series of four sets, the girls in blue kept neck and neck with their opponents, giving very little ground that they didn't take back in short succession. Sadly, however, Keller managed to outmaneuver the home team, earning three razor thin wins against Boswell's triumph in set three. Leading the Lady Pioneers was Emily Brister with 16 kills and 5 solo blocks, followed by Sophia Reyes with 12 kills and 2 service aces, and Alexa Cenotto anchored the defense with an impressive 35 digs.
The girls return to their court Tuesday, September 15th, looking to secure a victory over the Timber Creek Lady Falcons.
