The Pioneers fell short against Byron Nelson in their Bi-District playoff game on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Thomas Coliseum in Haltom. Boswell was led in scoring by junior Judah Gordon with 15 points and junior Tobias Reese with 14 points.
Boswell completed one of the most successful seasons in school history. They finish the season with a 19-16 record and third place in district 3-6A. Nineteen wins is the most since the 2012-13 season and their 2-0 district start was also the best in ten years. The Pioneers have made the playoffs in two of the last three years as a 6A program with 12 total playoff appearances in the school's 62 year history. Boswell returns eight varsity lettermen next season. The Pioneers' coaches extend a big thank you to seniors Caiden Punt and Jalen Almodovar as well as their senior managers Nick Franklin, Devin Bryan, and Greg Seamon.
