Boswell's cross country teams gave their all at the District 3-6A Championships hosted at the Buff in Haltom City on Friday, Oct.13. The day kicked off with the varsity girls division, where Lola Deane claimed the victory, securing her second consecutive Individual Championship. Her outstanding performance was complemented by the close presence of her teammates, Brooklyn Dotts and Gracie Pineda, which helped the team place five runners in the Top 10.
The boys team displayed incredible teamwork and determination finishing in sixth place. While they narrowly missed the opportunity to qualify for the regional championship, Boswell was led by the exceptional performance of freshman Peyton Rhodes.
The girls team will compete at the Regional Championships at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Good luck Lady Pioneers!
