In the Area playoff against San Angelo Central, the Lady Pioneers girls basketball team displayed great teamwork, securing a victory over the Lady Bobcats with a score of 58-36. Although facing offensive challenges in the first half, the Lady Pioneers showcased an incredible defense throughout the entire game, limiting S.A. Central to a total of 36 points. The leading scorers for the night were Camille Williams with 20 points, Sydney Durrah with 17 and Salena Carrasco with 12. With this win, Boswell advances to the third round of the playoffs, set to face El Paso Eastwood in the Regional Quarterfinal playoff on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 pm at Midland Legacy High School.
