The Lady Pioneers found themselves in a tough battle against an aggressive El Paso Eastwood team at their Regional Quarterfinal playoff on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at Midland Legacy High School. Despite facing early challenges in establishing their normal rhythm, the Lady Pioneers maintained resilience and secured a hard-fought 20-17 halftime lead. After halftime adjustments, the team found their offensive stride, emerging victorious and securing a spot in the Regional Semifinals back in Fort Worth. Leading the team were Salena Carrasco with 15 points, Sydney Durrah with 11 and Camille Williams with nine. They will face Hebron on Friday, Feb. 23 at 8 pm at the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.
