In a hard-fought Regional Final game against South Grand Prairie at the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center on Saturday, Feb. 24 the Lady Pioneers displayed incredible heart and grit until the very end. Team leading scorers were Camille Williams with 16 points, Salena Carrasco with 13 and Sydney Durrah with 12. The Lady Pioneers wrap up an extraordinary season with an overall record of 35-6, leaving their mark as Bi-District, Area, Regional Quarterfinal and Regional Semifinal Champions. Their journey culminated in becoming Regional Finalists for the first time since the 1976-77 season. Congratulations to the players and coaches on an incredible season!
