The Lady Pioneers faced a challenging 8-3 loss against Weatherford on Friday, March 8th. Despite a strong effort, highlighted by Kaylee Sallee's two-run homer in the third inning, Boswell couldn't rally for the win. Addison Cook and Layla David led the team with two hits each. In the bottom of the seventh, Cook's triple followed by a hit from David added another run, but the Lady Pioneers couldn't close the gap further. Harley Malone started in the circle, pitching 2.1 innings and allowing six runs, while Ashlynn Eggleton pitched 4.2 innings, surrendering seven hits with only two runs scored.
