Friday's game between Boswell and Weatherford proved to be a heart-pounding game, culminating in a dramatic 6-5 walk-off victory for Boswell. With the score deadlocked at five in the bottom of the eighth inning, Mak Lerma was struck by a pitch and drove in the winning run. Boswell set the tone early, grabbing the lead in the first inning when Mason Bell drew a walk, bringing in a run, and solidifying their advantage in the bottom of the third as Ramon Corona's triple put them ahead 2-1. Although Weatherford surged ahead 3-2 in the fifth, Boswell fought back, ultimately tying the game in the seventh inning. Johann Infante's performance on the mound earned him the win for Boswell, with Berkeley Roddy's strong start setting the stage. Lerma led the team with two runs batted in, while Bell, Corona, and Lerma each contributed with one hit each. With an undefeated 10-0 record in District 3-6A, Boswell maintains their top spot and looks ahead to their next challenge as they host Crowley on Tuesday, Apr. 16, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 pm.
